Sofa Bente Lounge Series

The BENTE is the first upholstered lounge series in the Piet Boon outdoor collection. The collection consists
of two complete sofas in fixed sizes, open sofa elements, a coffee table, an armchair and a pouf. Where
the exisiting Piet Boon outdoor collection utilizes angular lines, the BENTE opts for rounded edges on all
the wooden parts and a softened backrest detail. Taking the comfort of indoors to the outside living space,
reflects the Studio Piet Boon vision on functionality and comfort.
Teak frame with stainless steel fittings. Seat and back cushions are made of polyurethane and protected
with a watertight cover. Arms connected using a coated steel frame.
All Piet Boon High Performance Fabrics (see chapter ‘Materials’). Upholstery is removable.
Natural untreated teak. Being exposed to the elements during outdoor use, the untreated wood will develop
its characteristic silver grey patina.
Included grey raincover.
Seat- and back cushion are included in price.

New cushion covers available. Price on request.
Teak wood will continue working under the influence of changes in the weather, leading to small or bigger
cracks in the wood, especially at the end grain. This is a natural process and doesn’t influence the quality of
the furniture. Formation of cracks will be minimal when the furniture isn’t exposed to direct sunshine and rain.
